Latest Findings
The Latest Findings module displays the most recent compliance and security insights generated from your connected cloud environments - AWS and GCP. Each finding represents a security control, configuration check, or policy rule evaluated during the scan.
The table includes:
Sr. No. – Numerical index of the finding.
Details – Opens Finding Details and API Results.
Title – Name of the control or check that triggered the finding.
Status –
Pass → The resource meets compliance requirements.
Fail → The resource violates a configuration or compliance requirement.
Severity – Critical, High, Medium, Low.
Service – Cloud service which was scanned.
Region – Cloud region or global scope.
Resource – Identifier of the affected resource.

Clicking View All will redirect you to the Browse Findings page.

This page consolidates all findings identified across scans, enabling detailed review, filtering, and tracking.
Browse Findings Page Layout
The Browse Findings page is designed to give users a comprehensive view of all recorded findings. The page is structured into the following components:
1. Search and Filter Panel
At the top of the page, users can refine the findings displayed using search and filter options:
Search by Title – Enter keywords to locate findings based on their issue description.
Date Filter – Specify a date to retrieve findings identified on or after the selected day.
Severity Filter – Narrow findings by severity level (Critical, High, Medium, Low).
Status Filter – Filter findings based on their compliance outcome (Pass, Fail, Pending, Active, etc.).
Region Filter – View findings associated with specific cloud or geographic regions.
Service Filter – Limit findings to a particular cloud service (e.g., CloudWatch, S3, IAM).
Clear Filters – Reset all applied filters to return to the default unfiltered view.

2. Findings Table
The central portion of the page displays findings in a tabular format. Each column provides key information:
Sr. No. – Numerical index of the finding.
Details – Opens Finding Details and API Results..
Title – The description of the compliance or security check performed.
Status – Indicates whether the check passed or failed.
Severity – Highlights the impact rating of the finding (Critical, High, Medium, Low).
Service – The specific cloud service where the issue was detected.
Region – The cloud/geographical region associated with the resource.
Resource – The exact resource identifier linked to the finding.

Key Benefits of Browse Findings
Holistic View – Access all findings in a centralized repository.
Efficient Filtering – Quickly isolate findings relevant to severity, service, or compliance status.
Actionable Insights – Gain clarity on impacted resources for remediation.
Scalability – Handle large volumes of findings with pagination and search.
Select the Details option corresponding to a finding.

The system will open a detailed view panel containing comprehensive information about the selected finding.

Components of the Finding Details Page
The details page is structured into key sections, each providing critical information:
1. Summary
Displays the essential metadata of the finding, including:
Status: Indicates whether the finding has passed, failed, or requires review.
Severity: Highlights the criticality (Critical, High, Medium, or Low).
Service and Resource: Identifies the cloud service (e.g., CloudWatch) and the affected resource.
Resource ID and ARN: Provides unique identifiers for traceability.
Region: Specifies the geographical location of the resource.
Checked At: Displays the timestamp when the scan was performed.
Resource Type: Defines the category of the scanned resource.

2. Details
Provides descriptive context about the finding.
Includes:
Message: A concise explanation of the compliance check result.
Description: Defines the purpose of the check being validated.
Risk: Highlights potential risks or consequences if the issue is not remediated.

3. Remediation
Presents actionable recommendations to resolve the finding.
Includes a Terraform Guide link where applicable, enabling users to apply automated remediation steps.

4. Finding History
Displays historical scan results for the same resource.
Includes:
Finding ID
Status of each historical scan
Associated Scan Name
Date and Timestamp of the check
Enables users to track progress and assess whether remediation actions were effective over time.

API Results Button (</>)

In both the Latest Findings table and the Finding Details panel, users can access the underlying API call by clicking the API Results button, represented by </>.
This icon indicates that users can view raw API request and response data used during the assessment.

API Results Modal (Only for GCP)

The modal displays:
Request
Payload sent to the cloud API.
Headers
Headers used during the API call (e.g., authentication tokens).
Response
Raw API response returned from AWS or GCP.
