Locate the scan for which you want to view insights.
In the Details column, click on the corresponding button for the desired scan.
This action will redirect you to the Browse Findings page.
Navigating the Browse Findings Page
Findings Table
Each row in the findings table provides detailed information about a specific compliance check. Columns include:
Details – Description of the check performed.
Title – Name of the finding or policy check.
Status – Outcome of the check (Pass or Fail).
Severity – Risk level associated with the finding (Critical, High, Medium, Low).
Service – Cloud service where the check was performed.
Region – The cloud region of the affected resource.
Resource – Identifier of the resource linked to the finding.
You may also apply filters such as Severity, Status, Region, or Service to refine the results.
Viewing Detailed Findings
In the Details column of the findings table, select the record you want to explore.
A detailed view will appear, providing comprehensive information for the chosen finding.
The detailed findings page includes:
a. Summary
Overall Status (Pass/Fail).
Severity level of the finding.
Service associated with the finding.
Checked at
Resource details such as Resource ID, Region, and ARN.
b. Details Section
Message summarizing compliance status.
Description explaining the purpose of the check.
Risk outlining potential impact if the issue is not addressed.
c. Remediation
Recommended actions to resolve the issue.
Option to view related remediation guides (e.g., Terraform guide).
d. Finding History
A timeline of scans where the same resource was analyzed.
Status of the finding across different scans for tracking historical compliance.
Benefits of Using Browse Findings
Provides visibility into the compliance status of cloud resources.
Helps prioritize remediation efforts based on severity.
Enables historical tracking to monitor improvement over time.
Offers actionable recommendations for quick resolution.
By following these steps, users can easily move from a completed scan to reviewing detailed insights, allowing them to understand risks, take corrective actions, and maintain cloud compliance effectively.
